Week Forty Two: 3rd September 2012

A SOLILOQUOY OF NOISE

Soft chirping of wild birds interrupted,
Impatient  car horns blast, demanding,
While a gentle spring breeze,
Is usurped by a rattling train,  ancient,
Dogs bark and a baby crys
In rhythm, a joggers light feet patter by,
To a car engine revving testosterone
The sounds of suburbia.
