Day Fifty Nine: 20th September 2012

GRIEVING

Salt trickles over checks to lips,
In tiny beads of warm water,
Grieving that gone,
Beyond reach, yet not dead.
Slipping away while life lingers, desperate,
A cruel irony,
Played out on the stage of dejection.
