Day Two Hundred and Eight: 16th January 2013

the curtain billows lightly in the summer afternoon breeze
a wispy wave of cerulean blue
brushing against the heavy mahogany bed head
while hippy beads are jangling and Nina Simone croons in the background
and a fly buzzes in, circles once, and buzzes out
mimicking eggs sizzling and the kettle softly whistling

and sprawled on the dishevelled sheets
my moist skin is both tingling and fuzzy
and I know at last I am happy (or sad)
