Spring Rain

Lying on my back
staring upward
outstretched
mouth open
gulping
big bulbous droplets
luscous
silver streaks
slide across my face
warm wetness
enveloping my body
pink
dissolves my winter cocoon
and I explode
blossoming

Taboo

standing stark before me
your pink flesh dimpled
appearing young and fresh
inviting me to touch
the untouchable taboo
nakedness an invisible cloak
masking the inner monster
tempter of the vulnerable
pussy blister weeping pathetic
lamentor of the torn soul

Finally Free

waking from the dream
a lightness befell me
an inner energy
surged
that I had forgotten was gone
your yearned for absence
palpable
and welcome

sounds now crisper
air more radiant
colour vibrant

am I finally free?

Gone Forever…

pushing you away
I screamed
“follow the light”

you’re face confused
loomed above

“you’re dead”
I screamed

eyes begging
you looked upon me

“you can see a light can’t you?”

head raised you looked upward
and I watched your body spiral upward

gone forever
in peace
I hope

never to enter
another dream

A Love Poem

the earth was flat
when first we met
under cloak of dark
and forbidden passion grew
tainted by jealous eyes

so we jumped from the earth’s edge

holding hands in desperation
so as to awake together
unfetid in the next life

many long centuries pass
and the cliff still stands
but the earth now round
a never-ending spinning orb

ongoing

forever

like our love

Ode to Virginia Woolf

slowly submerging
ripples
swirl upward
cool
caressingly gray
murkiness

a protective shield
barricading reality
uncertainty hidden

willingly
I breathe
water
oxygen bubbles
rise
burst
gone forever

eyes bulging

ears popping

my body
slowly sinks

Fearful Symmetry

porcelain dreams, transparent
possibly fragile, shallow
pausing on the brink
perpetual sanity, vanishing
plausible ideas, imaginary
pleading desperate falls heavy
plodding on empty ears
pleasure a constant manacle
pain a forgotten memory
prickling nerves now alive
producing persistent panic
