Day One Hundred and Ninety Six: 4th February 2013

icy trembling skin
body shivers contorted
eyes squint misty
silhouettes emerge converge
ghostly figures leering
a familiar face
vague memories resurface
almost within grasp
now fading away

Day One Hundred and Sixty Eight: 7th January 2013

When the curtain fluttered,
And the lightbulb dimmed,
Your warm breath brushed by,
And your musk scent hung;
Laughter echoed fleetingly.
I turned to steal a glimpse,
But you were still gone.

Day One Hundred and Thirty One: 1st December 2012

Soft flutterings,
Disturb my sleep,
Brushing light, invisible
Feather like
Along my neck,
A faint breath,
My hair moves,
Gently, tenderly,
Then you are gone.

Day One Hundred and Thirty: 30th November 2012

An atmosphere dank,
Lurking in dark corners,
Clinging thickly to the walls,
As a musty smell
Seeps from dusty bricks,
Ancient walls witnesses,
Projecting pictures past, hazy
A flickering slideshow,
Fading, swirl upward,
Images vivid, now shadowy,
Ghostly and gone.

A GHOSTLY IMPRINT

Smoke unfurls, a ghostly imprint,
In a room littered with unseen debris,
And an agonising dankness cloaking the air.
The walls, once silent witnesses, now groan ,
And from nowhere a cold breeze swirls,
An echo of pain reverberating.
The spiritual ephemera of actions long past,
But never forgotten.
